SAP Senior Consultant S/4HANA Financials FI/CO (m/w/d)

This position can be filled at either our Germany or Romania location. Applications from both countries are welcome.

Your Tasks:

  • Provide consulting, design and implementation support for integrated SAP S/4HANA Financials solutions with a focus on FI and CO in national and international transformation and rollout projects
  • Analyze, harmonize and optimize end-to-end processes in financial accounting, controlling and adjacent business areas based on SAP standard processes and best practices
  • Develop sustainable solution concepts for accounting, closing processes, cost accounting, profitability analysis, internal orders, profit center accounting, planning and reporting
  • Support S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives from requirements gathering, process design and customizing through to implementation, hypercare and stabilization, including the subsequent provision of support activities after project completion
  • Evaluate requirements, change requests and solution scenarios with regard to feasibility, process impact, standardization, integration capability and business value
  • Take functional responsibility for defined work packages, project objectives and project plans, with the perspective of leading sub-projects in the SAP Financials environment
  • Work closely with Finance, Controlling, Business Process Management and adjacent departments to ensure integrated, stable and efficient processes
  • Create and maintain process models, functional concepts, solution documentation, work instructions and training materials
  • Identify automation, digitalization and reporting potential within the Financials area and actively contribute to the further development of the SAP FI/CO roadmap

Your Profile:

  • University degree in business informatics, business administration, computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of practical experience in SAP FI and SAP CO, ideally in an SAP S/4HANA environment and in transformation, migration or international rollout projects
  • Sound knowledge of core FI processes such as general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, payment transactions, closing processes and financial reporting
  • Sound knowledge of CO processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, profitability analysis, product costing, planning and reporting
  • Good understanding of integrated end-to-end processes and interfaces to adjacent SAP modules and business areas, particularly logistics, purchasing, sales and BI/Analytics
  • Experience in designing, implementing and rolling out SAP system solutions, including process design, customizing, testing, training and go-live support
  • Confident handling of business process modeling, requirements management and the evaluation of solution concepts in the SAP Financials environment
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent way of working, and a high level of quality awareness and responsibility
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and appropriately to business departments, IT and management
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; additional German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to collaborate in international teams and to travel on a project-related basis, with travel activity below 10%
