MSF is an independent international medical relief organisation, with 28 offices worldwide. When large-scale epidemics occur, when areas in crisis are too dangerous for many other organisations, then our medical teams are there to assist the affected population. We organise basic medical care, treat the injured, carry out vaccination campaigns, train local staff and build up medical infrastructure. In long-term aid projects our teams fight diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, sleeping sickness, and HIV/AIDS. Join our

Ebola Emergency Response Pool

MSF is strengthening its Ebola Emergency Response Pool to ensure we can rapidly deploy experienced international staff whenever and wherever Ebola outbreaks occur. We are looking for highly motivated professionals who are prepared to deploy at short notice to support emergency Ebola response operations, currently with anticipated needs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

About the Emergency Pool

By joining the Ebola Emergency Response Pool, you become part of a dedicated roster of professionals prepared for rapid deployment during Ebola outbreaks. **Selected candidates will undergo the necessary recruitment and preparedness process before being considered for deployment as operational needs arise.**Assignments may involve working in highly challenging environments with strict infection prevention and control measures, multidisciplinary teams, and rapidly evolving operational contexts.

Current Operational Context

The current Ebola response requires flexibility regarding deployment duration and post-assignment procedures. At present, deployments are expected to include:

  • Approximately 6-8 weeks in the Ebola response project

  • The possibility of an additional 21-day observation period in your home country, if required by MSF
  • This observation period is fully contracted and covered by MSF
