Information Manager (f/m/d)
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a private, non-governmental, humanitarian organisation that provides medical aid in over 70 countries worldwide. The headquarter of the German section is in Berlin. BE PART OF THE TEAM
The position supports the organization’s digital information environment—particularly within SharePoint and Microsoft 365—to enable structured, sustainable, and collaborative practices that enhance information accessibility, usability, and alignment with evolving organizational needs.
YOU WILL
As a team member, you will support our projects on site - without actually being there. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Design and implement document lifecycle practices
- Develop and maintain digital structures and technical measures to improve information access and findability
- Design and improve the organization’s SharePoint environments
- Analyze and organize unstructured or disorganized digital content
- Manage large-scale information cleanup and migration activities
- Help enforce data protection, information security, and GDPR standards
- Provide technical support for digital tools such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint using automation or scripting tools (e.g. Power Automate, PowerShell)
- Collaborate with teams across MSF and diverse backgrounds to solve common challenges
YOU HAVE
The following professional qualifications and personal qualities are important to us:
- Experience structuring and managing large-scale digital information
- Experience organizing digital content e.g. documents, folders, websites
- Understanding of how to manage documents through their lifecycle
- Confidence working with large volumes of files and content
- Experience with Microsoft 365 platforms (e.g. SharePoint) and automation or scripting tools (e.g. Power Automate, PowerShell)
- Understanding of data protection, information governance, and compliance principles
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Python, or an interest in developing these skills
- Proficiency in English

- From 4.350€ to max. 5.503€ starting salary (for full-time employment) + 13th monthly salary
- 30 days holiday plus days off on 24. and 31.12.
