For more than 150 years, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has been providing comprehensive help for people. No matter what we do and where we are active, our seven Red Cross principles: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Servic, Unity and Universality always guide our actions.

Through its international cooperation work, the GRC is active in around 40 countries worldwide. As one National Society within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we work closely with our sister National Societies, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and other Movement partners.
