You will represent the subject of construction and project management in teaching and research at MSA, providing fresh impetus for the subject’s further development.
On our bachelor’s and master’s programmes, you will provide students with a solid grounding in your field of teaching and research.
Other key areas of your teaching will include digital technologies and legally sound, cost-effective action competence.
The practical projects you supervise will cover a variety of building types and address key issues in construction and project management.
By delivering courses in English, you will contribute significantly to the university’s internationalisation strategy.
Last but not least, you will support us in academic self-governance, and be involved in professional development and continuing education at MSA.
Your expertise is founded upon a degree in architecture, civil engineering or real estate management.
A relevant doctorate is desirable. The requirements for recruitment under Section 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (HSG NRW) apply.
You also have a sophisticated understanding of architecture and excellent knowledge, already demonstrated in teaching, of the following topics: building site operations, construction economics, investment appraisal, project management and project development, private and public construction law, architectural law and public procurement law.
You are equally experienced in matters relating to the life cycle of buildings as you are in their social, environmental and economic aspects.
