Aufgaben

• Entwicklung von Steuerungssoftware für komplexe, prozesstechnische Anlagen mit Automatisierung
• Aufbau und Nutzung von Simulationsmodellen zur virtuellen Inbetriebnahme
• Pflege und Weiterentwicklung von vorhandenen Software-Bibliotheken
• Test von Anlagensoftware zur Vorbereitung der Inbetriebnahme
• Kundenauftragsbearbeitung für Neuanlagen und Anlagenänderungen
• Mitarbeit bei Inbetriebnahmen im Haus und bei Kunden weltweit
• Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung von Konzepten für digitale Zwillinge und Anlagensimulationen
• Fachliche Abstimmung mit Mechanical Engineering, Produktmanagement, Produktion und Service

Tasks

• Development of control software for complex, automated wet processing equipment
• Set-up and use of simulation models for virtual commissioning
• Maintenance and further development of existing software libraries
• Testing of Equipment software in preparation for commissioning
• Processing of customer orders for new equipment and modifications
• Support with commissioning, both in-house and at customer sites worldwide
• Helping to shape and further develop concepts for digital twins and simulations
• Technical coordination with Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Production and Service

Anforderungen an den Bewerber

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik, Mechatronik, technischen Informatik oder vergleichbar
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der SPS-Programmierung komplexer Maschinen oder Anlagen
• Gute Auffassungsgabe und elektrotechnisches Verständnis
• Gute Kenntnisse in Steuerungsprogrammierung, bevorzugt Siemens
• Kompetenz in strukturiertem Softwaredesign
• Erfahrung mit virtueller Inbetriebnahme und Simulationen von Anlagenverhalten sind von Vorteil
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Weltweite Reisebereitschaft (ca. 20%)

Requirements

• A completed degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, computer engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in PLC programming for complex machines or automation
• Strong ability to grasp new concepts and a good understanding of electrical engineering
• Good knowledge of control programming, preferably Siemens
• Competence in structured software design
• Experience with virtual commissioning and simulation of machine behaviour is an advantage
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 20%)
