(CF-BIOS) at Helmholtz Munich is looking for a highly motivated staff scientist (f/m/x) to join our team.
CF-BIOS provides comprehensive bioinformatics and statistical support for diverse research applications. We work closely with data-generating facilities and on-campus computational groups to deliver integrated, high-quality workflows. Our services include analysis of various omics data sets, including single-cell, spatial and multi-omics intergrations, as well as supporting large cohort studies.
You will work closely with biologists, clinicians, statisticians, computational and other core facilities to develop and validate new software tools and computational pipelines. You enjoy teaching the next generation scientist in bioinformatics and computational topics in our courses and want to make an impact in developing future health solutions. If you like to be part of a dynamic team and work at the cutting edge of science, this full-time position may be for you.

If you fulfill all the requirements, you may be eligible for a salary grade of up to E 13. Social benefits are based on the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD). The position has an (initial) fixed term until 31.12.2028 but may be extended under certain circumstances. As a requirement for this position, applicants must have (or be able to obtain) the legal right to work in Germany at the start of employment.
