During your studies, you can contribute to our ongoing research projects. Join us in pushing the limits of what is technically feasible and be part of breaking new ground together. We offer a variety of challenging and practice-oriented topics for mandatory internships, Bachelor’s or Master’s theses or for student research assistants. You will analyse important scientific preliminary questions and support the project teams with development activities.

We created the nortl package () that makes it possible to design real chips in Python. With this package, a designer can create and test sequential logic without manually crafting Verilog code. Verilog is created by our Python code.

For improving NoRTL, we need you! There are various tasks to do in different fields such as creating demo applications, inventing new methods and tools or creating the next components for our chips.

Good or even Advanced Python skills
(be sure, you know about dicts, lists, classes and context managers)
Knowledge about git
Verilog or VHDL is of advantage
