The internal research group VirtuSen is working on using virtual sensors to predict the behavior of a nanopositioning system under various external disturbances. Part of this topic is the (thermal) modeling of the system (e.g. the coils) as well as the validation of the created models and data acquisition for training AI.

We are therefore looking for a student assistant for the thermomechanical simulation of coils and coil assemblies as well as assistance with the experiments.
