For our IT Organization at our Burbach site, we are looking for a qualified candidate to join us as
Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN
- Configure and administer routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and VoIP systems
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability and security
- Automate routine network administration tasks and support continuous infrastructure improvements
- Evaluate and implement new networking technologies, products, and security solutions
- Collaborate with global IT teams to deliver infrastructure projects and optimize network operations
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in enterprise network engineering
- Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
- Strong experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, and Next Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Knowledge of VoIP technologies (CUCM, SIP, H.323, QoS) and network automation/DevOps practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage
