Position Summary:

Innotec NA is seeking a motivated Engineering Co-op to support our automotive engineering team. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world engineering projects, including product feasibility studies, technical calculations, process analysis, testing & validation, and engineering documentation. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a technical degree who are eager to apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment while gaining practical experience alongside cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions:

Support engineering teams with product feasibility studies and technical evaluations
Read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings and specifications
Receive product-specific technical training to assist with engineering calculations related to product design, process speeds, and performance metrics
Create and maintain product and process matrices
Participate in testing and validation activities
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Process Engineering
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and manufacturing processes
Gain hands-on experience through onboarding and shop floor training

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills
Effective oral and written communication and documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Understanding of technical drawings and product design fundamentals
Proficiency in English
