VCT Machine Operator IN MUSKEGON, MI

Summary: To load and operate shot peening machines and auxiliary equipment to maintain required quality and quantity of production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Read and interpret blueprints or hand sketches or works from verbal or written instruction
Performs duties autonomously and pays attention to detail; offers flexibility and willingness to work overtime
Works under and receives training from Production Supervisor and Team Leader
Works according to SCHERDEL‘s and the Customer‘s quality and environmental system requirements
Keeps count of completed product on each run, records, and disposes of spoilage properly.
Ensures that Scherdel's SST processes and standards are maintained and used.
Completes department-required paperwork.

Solves problems with the assistance of other team members and seeks continuous improvement

Position Requirements:

Highschool Diploma or GED: Required
