The Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics is dedicated to addressing global challenges related to water, soil, and the environment through research, innovation, and international collaboration. In this context, we are seeking a Project Manager for an EU Horizon Europe Mission project involving 19 international partner organizations. The Project Manager will support the coordinator and the SaliNova consortium by facilitating coordination and communication among partners and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with administrative, financial, and reporting requirements, upholding data management and quality standards, monitoring project progress, and contributing to effective governance and quality management.

YOUR TASKS

  • Administrative and organizational coordination of an EU funded research project with 19 European partner organisations
  • Financial, Contractual, and Reporting Management
  • Coordination of project-related communication and dissemination activities at national and international levels
  • Data, Documentation, and Knowledge Management
  • Supporting the project leadership in organizational and administrative matters as well as other project-related tasks as required

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in the field of management, public administration, environmental sciences, engineering, social sciences, research administration, or a related field

Desirable knowledge and personal skills

  • Experience in project management, coordination, reporting, and communication within complex institutional environments is highly desirable
  • Excellent written & spoken English skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex administrative or research projects, preferably in the context of EU or other international funding schemes
  • Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills in an international and interdisciplinary environment as well as attention to detail
  • Strong service orientation with a proactive and solution-oriented approach and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
