YOUR TASKS

  • Research in dependability, architectural security, and self-explanation of digital hardware
  • Integrating the most recent developments in artificial intelligence with design support methodologies
  • Software engineering and implementation of tool support in open-source frameworks and evaluation on industrial designs
  • Continuous exchange with partner institutions from research and industry
  • Publication of research findings at international conferences and in leading journals

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements

  • Completed scientific university degree in the subject Computer Science or a closely related field with a strong foundation in Computer Science

Desired knowledge and personal skills

  • Very good programming skills, preferably experience with C++
  • Good understanding of digital hardware design on the architectural and on the register transfer level is an advantage
  • Enthusiasm in exploring advanced design support tools, their conceptual design, and technical realization
  • Interest in engaging in a team for discussion, development, implementation, and presentation of new methodologies and algorithms
