Finanzcontroller – Reporting, Projektbudgetierung & Kostenplanung (m/w/d) | Financial Controller – Reporting, Project Budgeting & Cost Planning (m/f/d)

In unserem Finance & Controlling Team innerhalb der Finance & Procurement Unit der UTN suchen wir einen engagierten Finanzcontroller bzw. eine engagierte Finanzcontrollerin, der bzw. die das Finanzcontrolling an unserer neuen Universität weiterentwickelt und mit uns spannende Herausforderungen meistert! Du wirst nicht nur für die Erstellung und Präsentation von Finanzberichten verantwortlich sein, sondern auch in die Planung und Analyse von Projekten einsteigen, Prognosen erstellen und an der Optimierung unserer Datenstruktur mitwirken. Deine Aufgaben:

  • Weiterentwicklung des Finanzcontrollings an der UTN
  • Konzeption und Erstellung von Auswertungen (Statistiken und ad hoc Anfragen) im Bereich Finanzen samt Reporting und adressatenorientierter Präsentation
  • Projektcontrolling einschließlich Personalkostencontrolling, insbesondere im Drittmittelbereich
  • Datenabgleiche und Standardisierung der Datenstruktur in den ERP-Systemen
  • Mitwirkung bei der Budgetplanung und der Haushaltsanmeldung
  • Unterstützung in der Buchhaltung (insb. beim Jahresabschluss und/oder bei der Erstellung von Monats- und Quartalsabschlüssen)
  • Key-User/-in im SAP S/4HANA Modul Controlling und Berichtswesen
  • Unterstützung bei der Einführung des Business-Intelligence-Systems CEUS (Computerbasiertes Entscheidungsunterstützungssystem für das Hochschulwesen in Bayern) an der UTN, Domäne Finanzcontrolling

Dein Profil:

Erforderlich:

  • Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium auf Bachelor-Niveau. idealerweise mit dem Schwerpunkt Finanzen, Controlling oder Statistik; Weiterbildung als Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in (BL II) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mehrjährige (mindestens zweijährige) einschlägige Berufserfahrung
  • Fachkenntnisse im Controlling sowie in den einschlägigen Rechtsnormen
  • Sehr gute schriftliche und mündliche Ausdruckweise in Deutsch sowie Grundkenntnisse in Englisch
  • Betriebswirtschaftliches Knowhow und konstruktives, lösungsorientiertes Mitdenken
  • Hohes Engagement und Belastbarkeit sowie zuverlässige, analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Teamfähigkeit

Wünschenswert:

  • Berufserfahrung im Finanzbereich des öffentlichen Dienstes und/oder Hochschul- bzw. Wissenschaftsbereich
  • Kenntnisse in SAP S/4HANA
  • Kenntnisse in CEUS oder in einem vergleichbaren Business-Intelligence-System

Financial Controller – Reporting, Project Budgeting & Cost Planning (m/f/d)

Within our Finance & Controlling team, part of the Finance & Procurement Unit at UTN, we are looking for a dedicated Financial Controller to further develop financial controlling at our new university and tackle exciting challenges alongside us! You’ll not only be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports, but will also get involved in project planning and analysis, draw up forecasts and help optimise our data structure. Your role? Versatile and varied – from analysis through to budget planning and project controlling.

Your tasks:

  • Further developing financial controlling at UTN
  • Designing and producing analyses (statistics and ad hoc queries) in the finance department, including reporting and presentations tailored to specific audiences
  • Project controlling, including staff cost controlling, particularly in the area of third-party funding
  • Data reconciliation and standardisation of the data structure in the ERP systems
  • Contributing to budget planning and budget submission
  • Providing support with bookkeeping (particularly for the annual accounts or monthly and quarterly financial statements)
  • Key user for the SAP S/4HANA Controlling and Reporting module
  • Supporting the roll-out of the CEUS business intelligence system (computer-based decision-support system for higher education in Bavaria) at UTN, within the Financial Controlling domain

Your profile:

Required:

  • A successfully completed bachelor’s degree in economics, ideally specialising in finance, controlling or statistics; further training as an administrative specialist (BL II) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years’ (at least two years’) relevant professional experience
  • Expertise in controlling and the relevant legal regulations
  • Very good written and spoken German, as well as a basic knowledge of English
  • Business management expertise and a constructive, solution-oriented approach
  • High levels of commitment and resilience, as well as a reliable, analytical and structured approach to work and the ability to work well in a team

Desirable:

  • Professional experience in the finance sector of the public sector and/or in higher education or research
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of CEUS or a comparable business intelligence system
