Koordinator/-in für Studienarchitektur und zentrale Studienberatung (m/w/d)| Coordinator for Academic Program Organisation and Central Student Advisory Service (m/f/d)

Du bist voller Ideen und möchtest die Zukunft der Studienberatung aktiv mitgestalten? Als Koordinator/-in für Studienarchitektur und zentrale Studienberatung entwickelst du gemeinsam mit deinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen der UTN School of Students and Young Researchers (StaRs) im Early Career Center eine zentrale Studienberatung der UTN, die moderne und innovative Formate nutzt – von Online-Plattformen über Chatbots bis hin zu kreativen Beratungsveranstaltungen. Du vernetzt dich mit Beratungseinrichtungen in der Region, entwickelst UTN-eigene Formate und stärkst die Präsenz der UTN in der Bildungslandschaft. Deine Rolle geht aber noch weiter: Du entwickelst Konzepte für eine zukunftsorientierte Studienplanung und Studiengangskoordination, die die komplexen Anforderungen unseres Lehr-Lernkonzepts in eine smarte Semesterplanung überführt. Darüber hinaus initiierst du Unterstützungsmaßnahmen, um Studierende optimal bei ihrer Studienwahl zu begleiten.

Aufgaben:

  • Aufbau und Entwicklung einer zentralen Studienberatung der UTN, insbesondere die Entwicklung von Strukturen und eigenen, insbesondere digitalen Beratungsformaten sowie werbewirksamen Beratungsveranstaltungen
  • Entwicklung eines Konzepts zur langfristig tragfähigen Studienplanung und Studiengangskoordination im Rahmen des UTN Lehr-Lernkonzepts; insbesondere das Projektmanagement und die Kommunikationsführung als Schnittstellenfunktion auf fachlicher Ebene zwischen den internen Stakeholdern
  • Initiierung, Entwicklung, Koordination und Umsetzung beispielsweise fachlicher Eignungstests oder ähnlicher Methoden zur Selbsteinschätzung von Fachwissen für Studierende als Bewertungsinstrumente im Rahmen der Studierendenauswahl

Profil:

Erforderlich:

  • Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium auf Master Niveau in den Bereichen Bildungswissenschaften, Psychologie, Sozialwissenschaften, Bildungs- oder Hochschulmanagement, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Wirtschaftspädagogik oder einzelne Geisteswissenschaften oder vergleichbar
  • Fachkenntnisse in den einschlägigen Rechtsnormen und Vorgaben, wie bspw. den Bologna-Vorgaben, Stipendienrichtlinien oder dem BayHIG
  • Sehr gute mündliche wie schriftliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit in Deutsch und Englisch
  • Hohe IT-Affinität und sicherer Umgang mit den gängigen Social-Media-Kanälen
  • Hohes Maß an Dienstleistungs- und Serviceorientierung sowie Teamfähigkeit
  • Eigenverantwortliche und ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, umfassende und diplomatische Kommunikationskompetenz sowie sicheres und verbindliches Auftreten

Wünschenswert:

  • Langjährige (mindestens drei Jahre) Berufserfahrung im Bereich Studienberatung bzw. Studiengangsmanagement
  • Langjährige (mindestens drei Jahre) praktische Erfahrung im Projektmanagement und der Schnittstellenkommunikation
  • Idealerweise Kenntnisse innovativer, digitaler Lehr-Lernkonzepte und Campusmanagement-Systeme
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement

Coordinator for Academic Program Organisation and Central Student Advisory Service (m/f/d)

Are you full of ideas and want to play an active role in shaping the future of academic advising? As a Coordinator for Academic Program Design and Central Academic Advising, you’ll work alongside your colleagues at the School of Students and Young Researchers (StaRs) in the Early Career Center to develop a central academic advising service for the UTN that utilizes modern and innovative formats—from online platforms and chatbots to creative advising events. You’ll network with counseling institutions in the region, develop UTN-specific formats, and strengthen UTN’s presence in the educational landscape. But your role goes even further: You’ll develop concepts for future-oriented academic planning that translate the complex requirements of our teaching and learning model into smart semester planning. In addition, you’ll initiate support measures to provide students with optimal guidance in choosing their courses of study.

Tasks:

  • Establishment and development of a central student advising service at UTN, particularly the development of structures and proprietary, especially digital, advising formats, as well as high-impact promotional advising events
  • Development of a concept for long-term, sustainable academic planning within the framework of the UTN teaching and learning concept; in particular, project management and communication coordination as an interface function at the disciplinary level between internal stakeholders
  • Initiating, developing, coordinating, and implementing, for example, subject-specific aptitude tests or similar methods for students to self-assess their subject knowledge, to serve as evaluation tools in the student selection process

Profile:

Required:

  • A successfully completed master’s degree in the fields of educational sciences, psychology, social sciences, educational or higher education management, economics, business education, or certain humanities disciplines, or a comparable field
  • Expert knowledge of relevant legal standards and guidelines, such as the Bologna Process requirements, scholarship guidelines, or the BayHIG
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Strong IT skills and confidence in using common social media channels
  • A strong service orientation and the ability to work well in a team
  • An independent and results-oriented approach to work, comprehensive and diplomatic communication skills, and a confident and engaging demeanor

Desirable:

  • Extensive (at least three years) professional experience in academic advising or degree program management
  • Extensive (at least three years) practical experience in project management and cross-functional communication
  • Ideally, knowledge of innovative, digital teaching and learning concepts and campus management systems
  • Knowledge of project management
