Aufgaben:

  • Betreuung und Koordination der HPC- und KI-Infrastruktur insbesondere Zugangsmanagement, Ressourcenmonitoring sowie Zusammenarbeit mit der zentralen IT und externen Partnerrechenzentren
  • Beratung und Abstimmung mit Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern sowie weiteren internen und externen Stakeholdern zu technischen Anforderungen und dem sicheren Betrieb von Forschungsinfrastrukturen
  • Aufbau, Betrieb und Support von Laborarbeitsplätzen sowie Forschungs-, Robotik-, lokale Storage- und Makerspace-Systemen einschließlich Installation, Konfiguration und Wartung der erforderlichen Hard- und Software
  • Analyse und Behebung komplexer Störungen sowie Entwicklung technischer Lösungen für vernetzte Forschungs- und Laborumgebungen
  • Unterstützung der zentralen IT bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Berechtigungs-, Sicherheits- und Betriebskonzepten unter Berücksichtigung von IT-Sicherheit, Datenschutz und regulatorischen Vorgaben

Profil:

Erforderlich:

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker/-in der Fachrichtung Systemintegration, IT-System-Elektroniker/-in, IT-Systemkaufleute, eine vergleichbare Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen, aufgrund derer eine entsprechende Tätigkeit ausgeübt werden kann
  • Mindestens ein Jahr einschlägige Berufserfahrung
  • Mindestens ein Jahr praktische Erfahrung in der Administration und Betreuung von Windows-, macOS- und/oder Linux-Systemen auf Client- und Serverseite
  • Mindestens ein Jahr praktische Erfahrung in der Installation und Konfiguration der oben genannten Systeme und Software
  • Hohe Kunden- und Serviceorientierung sowie ein ausgeprägter Einsatz- und Erfolgswille
  • Hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit, Eigenverantwortung und eine strukturierte, teamorientierte Arbeitsweise

Wünschenswert:

  • Erfahrung im Hochschulkontext oder einer öffentlichen Behörde
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Tasks:

  • Support and coordination of HPC and AI infrastructure, with a particular focus on access management, resource monitoring, and collaboration with central IT and external computing centers
  • Consultation and coordination with researchers as well as other internal and external stakeholders regarding technical requirements and the secure operation of research infrastructures
  • Setup, operation, and support of laboratory workstations as well as research, robotics, local storage, and makerspace systems, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the required hardware and software
  • Analysis and resolution of complex technical issues, as well as the development of technical solutions for interconnected research and laboratory environments
  • Support for central IT in developing and implementing access control, security, and operational concepts, taking into account IT security, data protection, and regulatory requirements

Profile:

Required:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist specializing in system integration, an IT systems electronics technician, an IT systems business administrator, or a comparable program, or comparable qualifications and experience that enable the candidate to perform the relevant duties
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience
  • At least one year of practical experience in the administration and support of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systems on both the client and server sides
  • At least one year of practical experience in the installation and configuration of the aforementioned systems and software
  • Strong customer and service orientation, as well as a strong commitment and drive to succeed
  • A high degree of independence, personal responsibility, and a structured, team-oriented approach to work

Desirable:

  • Experience in a higher education setting or a public agency
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Good written and spoken German skills
