Studienkoordinator Kinder- und Neurokognitive Forschung (m/w/d)

Du möchtest dazu beitragen, spannende wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse über die Entwicklung von Kleinkindern zu gewinnen und zugleich zentraler organisatorischer Knotenpunkt eines engagierten Forschungsteams sein? Dich interessiert, wie Kleinkinder denken, fühlen und die Welt verstehen und du möchtest hierfür eine spielerische Testumgebung schaffen? Als Studienkoordinator/-in übernimmst du eine verantwortungsvolle Schnittstellenrolle zwischen Forschung, Familien und Datenmanagement. Du gewinnst Familien für unsere Studien, leitest den Aufbau einer Kinderdatenbank, koordinierst Studientermine mit Familien, und leitest ein Team von studentischen Hilfskräften bei kindgerechten, neuropsychologischen Untersuchungen an. Zudem unterstützt du die Datenauswertung und verantwortest das Datenmanagement. Mit deiner Kommunikationsfreude, deinem Organisationstalent und deinem Einfühlungsvermögen trägst du entscheidend zum Erfolg unserer kindlichen Entwicklungsforschung bei. Die Stelle ist in Teilzeit mit 30 Wochenstunden zu besetzen.

Deine Aufgaben:

Steuerung der Rekrutierung von Studienteilnehmenden (Kinder und Familien); Erstellung von Informations- und Rekrutierungsmaterialien sowie Kommunikation mit Familien und externen Einrichtungen
Organisation und Koordination der Studiendurchführung
Durchführung und Qualitätssicherung neurokognitiver Testungen mit Kindern (EEG, MRT, Eyetracking), inklusive Vorbereitung, Datenerhebung und fachlicher Entscheidungsfindung
Aufbau, Pflege und Qualitätssicherung der Probanden- und Studiendatenbank, unter Einhaltung datenschutzrechtlicher Vorgaben
Fachliche Anleitung und Koordination studentischer Hilfskräfte bei Testungen
Mitwirkung an der Studienkonzeption, Auswertung und wissenschaftlichen Dokumentation unter Anwendung psychologischen und neurowissenschaftlichen Fachwissens

Dein Profil:

Erforderlich:

Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium auf Bachelor-Niveau im Bereich Psychologie, Kognitionswissenschaften, Pädagogik, Sozialwissenschaften, Gesundheitswissenschaften oder vergleichbar
Kenntnisse im Datenbankmanagement und sichere IT-Anwenderkenntnisse (z. B. MS Office, SPSS, Datenbanksoftware)
Hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Einfühlungsvermögen und sicheres Auftreten im Kontakt mit Kindern und Eltern
Ausgeprägte Organisations-, Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie eine zuverlässige Arbeitsweise
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Eigenverantwortliche und ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, Kommunikationsfreude sowie sicheres und verbindliches Auftreten

Wünschenswert:

Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit Kindern und Familien
Kenntnisse in der Durchführung psychologischer bzw. neurokognitiver Testungen, idealerweise mit Kindern
Erfahrung in der Organisation und Koordination von Studien oder vergleichbaren Projekten (z. B. Forschungsprojekte, klinische Studien)
Erfahrung mit Rekrutierung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für Studien (z. B. Flyer, Webseiten, externe Kooperationen)

Study Coordinator for Childhood and Neurocognitive Research (m/f/d)

Are you interested in how young children think, feel, and understand the world, and would you like to create a playful testing environment for this? As a study coordinator, you will take on a responsible interface role between research, families, and data management. You will recruit families for our studies, oversee the creation of a child database, coordinate study appointments with families, and lead a team of student assistants in conducting child-friendly neuropsychological examinations. You will also support data analysis and be responsible for data management. With your communication skills, organizational talent, and empathy, you will make a decisive contribution to the success of our child development research. The position is part-time with 30 hours per week.

Your tasks:

Managing the recruitment and support of study participants (children and families); creating information and recruitment materials and communicating with families and external institutions
Organizing, coordinating, and supervising the study implementation
Conducting and quality assurance of neurocognitive testing with children, including preparation of the test environment, quality-assured data collection, and professional decision-making
Setting up, maintaining, and quality assurance of test subject and study databases, including master data management, documentation, and structured data storage in compliance with data protection regulations
Providing technical guidance and coordinating student assistants during testing
Participating in study design, evaluation, and scientific documentation using psychological and neuroscientific expertise

Your profile:

Required:

A successfully completed bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, education, social sciences, health sciences, or a comparable field
Knowledge of database management and confident IT user skills (e.g., MS Office, SPSS, database software)
Strong communication skills, empathy, and confidence in dealing with children and parents
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as a reliable approach to work
Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Independent and results-oriented approach to work, good communication skills, and confident and engaging manner

Desirable:

Experience working with children and families
Knowledge of conducting psychological or neurocognitive testing, ideally with children
Experience in organizing and coordinating studies or comparable projects (e.g., research projects, clinical studies)
Experience with recruitment and public relations for studies (e.g., flyers, websites, external collaborations)
