Duties primarily include teaching and research. Research associates may also pursue further academic qualifications outside of their work responsibilities.
Obligatory teaching load: 4 LVS.
The research is very flexible with a focus on the analysis of randomised and distributed algorithms.

The research unit consists of 5 projects that study different aspects of spreading and information flow -- distributed algorithms and population protocols, learning and reconstruction, opinion dynamics, network design, and scalable algorithms for implementation and simulation of randomized processes. The goals are to establish foundational insights across the different areas, as well as to develop new, mathematically rigorous techniques for the design and analysis of algorithms to simulate, reconstruct, control, and optimize information flows in networks.
A university degree in a relevant field.
Very good knowledge of theoretical computer science or discrete mathematics. Experience in the analysis of algorithms or randomized processes is desirable but not essential. Experience in university teaching (e.g., as a tutor) is also desirable but not essential. Good knowledge of the English language, the ability to work independently in a scientific environment, and the desire to deepen one's own knowledge and skills are required.
