The position is part-time (75% of regular working hours) with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13, 75 %). The employment period is from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2028.
The position holder will work on the project “Contested Responses to the Climate Crisis: Environmental Conflicts in Southeast Europe in the Shadow of the EU’s Green Transition,” funded by the German Foundation for Peace Research. The project conducts an empirical investigation into how the EU is perceived and addressed in environmental conflicts in Southeast Europe and what consequences this perception entails.
Within the framework of this third-party funded project, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to carry out project-related academic work. A supervision agreement may be concluded to ensure that the research results can be used for the candidate's own academic qualification outside working hours. The fixed-term employment contract is not based on Section 2(1) WissZeitVG.
