The Institute of Management Accounting & Control at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a
**at the earliest possible date. Our preference is for the candidate to start as soon as possible, however, the entry date can be arranged in accordance with the candidate’s preferences. The initial contract is for three years, part time (75% FTE), but may be extended. Candidates are welcome to apply early, which may even be several months prior to their graduation. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.

You will receive active support in developing your own research ideas and shaping your doctoral project.
What we offer
Alongside your doctoral project, you will support teaching and continuing education in our Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Executive MBA programs. Depending on your profile and our needs, this includes contributing to courses, supervising students, and supporting research, transfer, and practice projects.
You have completed, or will soon complete, an excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field. Ideally, you have focused your studies on management accounting, accounting, strategy, organization, or empirical data analysis.
You are eager to contribute to empirical research at an international level, enjoy working in English, and bring teamwork, curiosity, and initiative. Knowledge of statistical data analysis, empirical research, or econometrics is an advantage. Initial practical experience – for example in management accounting, consulting, corporate Institute of Management Accounting & Control development, strategy, transformation, or auditing – is a plus.
