The research group led by Prof. Sabrina Büttner within the Institute of Integrative Cell Biology and Physiology in the Faculty of Biology at the University of Münster is seeking to fill the position of a
**for a project within the Collaborative Research Center ‘Dynamic cellular interfaces’ (). The project will be focussed on molecular mechanisms governing membrane organization and plasticity. The position will be filled as soon as possible for a fixed term of 3 years, with the possibility of extension. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.
The successful candidate will join the research team of Prof. Sabrina Büttner at the Institute of Integrative Cell Biology and Physiology to investigate different aspects of lipid metabolism, membrane organization and organelle contact sites during cellular aging and metabolic adaptation. A special focus will be on lipid droplet biology and lipid flux at lipid droplet-organelle contact sites using the model system yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).
