The Mathematics Münster Graduate School at the University of Münster is seeking to fill up to 8 positions for
**to commence as soon as possible and no later than autumn 2027. Positions are available in all mathematical fields related to the work being undertaken at the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster: “Dynamics – Geometry – Structure”.
We are offering the fixed-term part-time positions (75% FTE) for 3 years. Some of the positions are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), either through the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster or the Emmy Noether group “Cohomology and K-Theory: Exploring New Connections”, while others are funded by the University of Münster’s mathematical institutes, for example, the Chair for Applied Analysis. The financial terms of the positions remain consistent regardless of the funding source.**
These positions are designed to support work towards a doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in any mathematical field related to the research being undertaken at the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster. Successful candidates will pursue their own research project supported by a local supervisor chosen from among the investigators of Mathematics Münster. Depending on the source of funding, you may be required to teach up to 4 hours per week during the semester (for full-time positions).
