Dean’s Office of the School of Business and Economics (SBE) has a vacancy for a:

Student Assistant at the International Relations Center

**starting on October 1, 2026, for 8 hours per week. The position is initially offered for one year with the possibility of extension.

The International Relations Center (IRC) coordinates the school’s international activities and serves as the central point of contact for international students (Incomings) as well as for students who are planning to study abroad for a semester (Outgoings).**

Your tasks:

  • Providing administrative support for day-to-day operations, such as processing emails and enquiries, and preparing simple documents in German and English.
  • Assisting with the application process for allocating exchange places to outgoing students
  • Maintaining website content, e.g. updating texts or event announcements.
  • Compiling spreadsheets and maintaining simple databases (e.g. in Excel)
  • Preparing and co-organizing an information session at the beginning of each winter semester.
  • Creating informational materials and presentations.

Our expectations:

You must be enrolled at a School of Business and Economics in Germany and have excellent MS Office Suite computer skills. You must also be dedicated and have a service-oriented mindset. The ability to work flexibly and independently is also required, as well as intercultural sensitivity and a passion for working with students. Good written and spoken German and English skills are essential.
