Become part of the team

The Institute of Chemistry at the University of Rostock and the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT) are two premier research institutes in chemistry and catalysis. We collaborate closely to address the key future challenges in chemistry and neighboring disciplines. Become a member of our international team of chemists and profit from our excellent research infrastructure. The research project addresses the conversion of biomass into aromatic compounds and polymer building blocks, which is a highly important objective in sustainable chemistry and materials science. The project will make novel biomass-based polymers available which have tunable properties and applications. The project utilizes organic synthesis and catalytic methods such as organo-, photo- and electrocatalysis as well as polymer preparation.

We look forward to receiving your application!
