The Research Department “Environmental and Climate Economics” at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research is looking for an

Intern (m/f/d) starting in November 2026 or later

YOUR ROLE

• Participate in a research project on firm pollutant emissions
• Prepare and analyze granular microeconomic data

YOUR PROFILE

• Master studies in economics, business administration, business mathematics, informatics or data science
• Interest in Environmental Economics
• Experience with R and/or other statistical software
• Knowledge of an additional European language (in particular, Romanic, Scandinavian or Slavic languages) is advantageous
• Reliability and the ability to work independently

WHAT WE OFFER

• Research insights at an economic research institute
• Independent work in a highly motivated team
• Internship (39,5 hours / week) for up to 3 months
• Compensation is determined in accordance with the amended Internship Directive of the Ministry of Finance (7 July 2016)
