The Chair of Philosophy of Mind (Prof. Ophelia Deroy) at the Faculty of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and Study of Religion, conducts research in the field of Philosophy of Perception, Action, or Social Cognition.

The successful candidate:
Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, especially with cognitive science, psychology, or neuroscience, is highly desirable.
The position is part of the interdisciplinary Cognition, Values and Behavior (CVBE) research group, which brings together philosophers, psychologists, and neuroscientists to investigate perception, action, cognition, and social interaction.
There are also opportunities to collaborate with other LMU initiatives such as the Munich Interactive Intelligence Initiative (MI3) and the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences (GSN).
The workplace is centrally located in Munich and easily accessible by public transport. We offer an exciting and responsible position in an international and interdisciplinary environment, with excellent opportunities for collaboration and career development.
Employment will be based on the TV-L E13 pay scale. The position is initially limited until January 31, 2029.
